Toxic algal blooms have been in the news around the country. Fortunately, there are no current reports of toxic algal blooms at the lake or the surrounding watershed.  But if you see blue-green algal scum in a pond or at the lake, STAY OUT of the water and report it to Lake Watch.  To learn more about toxic algal blooms, check the following links:
